Welcome to Wheel Works Pottery!

Our collection is forever changing with approach to exploring claybodies, colour and textures. We offer functional and non-functional pieces. All pottery is one-of-a-kind, uniquely hand-crafted by the artist, Deborah Craven.

Deborah began her Art Training as a fibre artist in 1975 at Georgian College, faculty of Design Arts and Technology. She then studied at The Banff Centre and The Alberta College of Art, Calgary. Ever-searching to fine tune her art form, Deborah achieved her BFA at Concordia University and Teaching of the Arts; Specialist; at McGill University.

Deborah was a fine arts teacher in both Quebec and Ontario until 2018. She found a rekindled love of working with clay and is completely immersed in experimenting and playing with new ideas and expression.  Deborah's studio Wheel Works Pottery is in the process of relocating to Renfrew, Ontario; the space is being renovated and will reopen in July.

Wheel Works Pottery will participate in 3 shows this year (2026):
